Aaron's Gift

Aaron’s Gift is a public charitable foundation established to help families receive the best in specialized medical care for a loved with an eating disorder. It was established by the family of Aaron Michael Eyre in 2019. Aaron was born and raised in the Bay Area of Northern California. He battled a chronic eating disorder for over 18 years. Aaron had a brilliant mind, graduating from high school as valedictorian, then attending Brigham Young University, Ohlone College and the University of California Berkeley. He had a true fondness for the Chinese culture, was fluent in Mandarin, and spent a summer studying at National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei. He served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Toronto, Canada He has a deep love for basketball and was a loyal fan of the Lakers and later the Warriors.

He worked frequently as a tutor in math and science for high school and junior high school students. He was a gifted teacher and loved assisting students in learning principles that always came easily to him. His students and their parents were always full of gratitude for how patient, thoughtful, and helpful Aaron was.

All who knew Aaron were lifted by his kindness, his caring spirit, his brilliant smile, and the light that was always felt in his presence. He was deeply sensitive to the feelings of others. He was a true follower of Jesus Christ, always eager to serve others in whatever ways he could, often sacrificing his own needs to help them.
